Downtown Toronto is filled with so much inspiration and originality, it’s no wonder that it was selected for the backdrop of Bailey and Michael’s urban chic wedding. The bride, a budding designer, had a few DIY tricks up her wedding gown sleeve, taking on the challenge of decorating her own reception, held in the stylish The Burroughes on Queen West. The gorgeous eclectic feel of the big day was captured by photographer Emma Turner of EmmaKate Photography.

Time for our lovely couple to head outside to grab a few post nuptial photos featuring the vibrant and colourful streets of downtown Toronto.

Bailey decorated the Burroughes space with an open air market flair: the playful decor centres around different stalls, including one for scrumptious baked goods, one for sumptuous wine, and another for beautiful, bright flowers. We adore everything from the twinkly lights to the adorable personal touches found on the “Story of Us” chalkboard detailing the new couple’s relationship.
