Great performance inside a great venue, Hammerson Hall. Being here stirred up some emotionally nostalgic feelings because this is the same stage that I walked across 10+ years ago when I graduated from Sheridan College.Adding to these emotions was the remembering of the time in the grand lobby with my Father back then when he was purchasing the Graduation memorabilia like Photos and Frames for my Diploma and Certificate for us. I was his first child to graduate from Post-Secondary school.Back to the recent experience, all was good until the end of the show when I was on the wait out. I got to meet the Director and then, just seconds after, one of the Ushers expressed concern to the Director over a culturally sensitive gesture which was portrayed in the Performance. I think the Usher should have been more considerate about when and how to express this concern to the Director... not in front of all the nearby Patrons, at least.

Great theater! I believe all of the seats provide a good view of the stage. Staff very helpful and professional. Wonderful performances are offered here and parking was free.

The experience is magnified by the excellence of the performance you have seen. This is a magical place, clean and professional. A snack and beverage booth during intermission as well as friendly and accommodating staff. Truly a magical and memorable outing. A definite return will be forth coming. You will promise yourself upon exiting. A must visit for the perfect evening and lasting memory.

A Caution to ParentsMy wife and I, along with our two-year old, attended the November 23rd performance for Sesame Street: C is for Celebration at the Living Arts Centre. The day we purchased tickets, we called the box office to find out the policy with toddlers/infants and were told that we could buy a "baby ticket" in advance for $5 or pay $2 at the door for the same ticket. We called once more leading up to the event to confirm this policy, and we were told the same thing. We consulted an usher that we know personally and she confirmed a second time.Great! We thought. We'll pay the $2 and everything is a-okay.Fast forward to the day of the show. We show up at the box office and are told that they are sold out of baby tickets, and that if we want our child to attend, will need to pay $20. Are you kidding me?Not once was the "limited quantity" of the baby tickets disclosed to us via email or telephone, despite our inquiries. And how are they sold out if I can still buy one for a 1000% price increase? Honest to God gouging by this venue, and I shudder to think how many parents paid this fee not knowing what else to do.Fortunately, we complained and spoke to a manager, and were given a "baby ticket" free of charge.Doubt we will ever attend another event at the LAC.Parents, watch out.

We hosted an event at the Live Restaurant and although the menu was a little pricey, the venue was beautiful and the service was great. They took care of everything for us and our clients were very impressed. We will host here again next year.
