My wife and I had the most wonderful experience organizing our wedding at Ricarda's. We cannot say enough great things about the space, food, and most importantly the staff. Of course, the first thing we loved was the physical space. The architecture really is the decor (meaning you don't have to invest as much in tons of other stuff) and our guests raved that the space was elegant, contemporary, and well laid-out. Next, the food. No rubber chicken dinners here. The culinary team at Ricarda's are absolute pros. We had two (!) tastings with them and had a tough time deciding which of their amazing meals to include in our menu. They are also insanely flexible, working with us to create the perfect menu for our families' tastes. They also let us bring it our own late-night food. Finally, and most importantly, the event staff team is beyond fabulous. We worked with Zoe and Jennifer who bent over backwards to make sure our event was perfect. They were honourable and fair in their pricing and found ways for us to stay within our budget. They worked directly with Gervais rentals to bring it tables and chairs which was one less thing for us to worry about. On the night-of, we had a couple of grandparents fall ill and their team was so professional and helpful in dealing with the situation. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how kind and attentive the wait staff and bartenders were. Zoe and Jennifer have built an amazing team. My wife and I were just having dinner with a couple who is about to get married and they complained non-stop about how inflexible their venue was being and how they felt like they were being nickel-and-dimed for everything they wanted to do. We smiled because we couldn't relate even a little bit. RICARDA'S IS AMAZING. STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND JUST DO IT. You'll forever be glad you did!
My partner and I tried to organize a wedding here and saw the venue. We were very interested and excited about the venue and they were willing to make food requests special to our party. Subsequent to our visit, we began to send follow-up e-mails to the coordinator who did not reply. We sent a total of 4-5 e-mails over the course of a month until we finally received a response at which point there were several excuses as to the lack of responsiveness. This restaurant as a venue is EXTREMELY unprofessional and was very disappointed.

Such horrendous service received when trying to organize an event at the Atrium at Ricardas. Contacted members who wouldnt even get back to our serious inquiries. On top of that when speaking to the general manager he denied everything we had originally been told. Trying to plan an event and experiencing such racism by the organization. They are refusing me and stating to me straight up that no outside food is allowed which is understandable. They expect us to get food catered by themselves and stated that the food may not be good so dont be surprised. On top of that, they refuse to let us come earlier to set up and are only letting us in 2 hours before guests arrive to organize everything. When asked for measurements to plan they refused to provide us with that as well. They stated they dont want my wedding reception party to be held there because they believe my cultures food smells bad. Quite ridiculous service and have never felt so targeted in my life. It was quite evident they did not want us to hold our event there. Such a let down.
I organized an event at the Atrium at Ricarda's in November for one of my non-profit association clients. Zoe and her onsite team were extremely helpful and accommodating and it was a great experience working with everyone at the venue. From the beginning, Zoe was willing to work with us to ensure that the event was everything we had hoped for (even with our limited NFP budget). She was very organized and diligent, she always responded to my emails within an hour to answer my questions and clarify any concerns I had - she definitely helped to reduce the stress that comes with planning an event! The onsite staff on the day of the event was wonderful - they were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this venue, our guests were raving about how delicious the food is and how stunning the space is. Thank you Zoe & team for a great experience!
I helped organize a large corporate event in the Atrium at Ricarda's in September and it went amazingly! Not only is the space really beautiful - definitely a "wow factor" for all the guests, but Zoe, Chef and the whole Ricarda's team was so helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the whole planning process. We were lucky enough to get a custom menu created and were allowed to do a tasting prior to the event as well which was so appreciated. Zoe is truly an all-star and wonderful to work with - always on the ball! We would love to host another company event at Ricarda's in the future.
