We got married this December 14th, my point of contact at the hall was Maria, although I did chat several times with Gianluca & Diana as well. Our wedding was phenomenal Maria and her team blew us away with all their hard work and help. We booked the venue September 2018 and from then until the very day of my wedding I was emailing and calling Maria with ridiculous ideas and plans, minor changes that felt enormous to me and so many updates on decor and guest counts. Then entire time Maria was unbelievably helpful and always told me “not to worry, I’m here to help with anything you need”. We originally wanted to get married outside on the terrace because it’s so beautiful but with a December wedding it was a bit much to chance (luckily, we didn’t because there was huge snow storm that day – the staff constantly shoveled and plowed) instead we decided to bring the outdoors inside and brought evergreens and cedar into the venue & had fire pits and Muskoka chairs in the courtyard. Our wedding day everything looked like a winter dream and I couldn’t have been happier with all the hard work that went into creating our vision. The food was INCREDIBLE I get so many compliments on the menu and all the food (antipasto buffet, prosecco fountain, pasta a la vodka with mushroom risotto, beef short ribs-delicious-with potatoes and carrot wrapped asparagus, dessert trio a cookie and milk station, taco station – my guests won’t stop talking about the fish tacos – and a specialty coffee station). The price for everything was exceedingly reasonable. I had called and done site visits with roughly 30 venues total The Royal Venetian Mansion was by far the better option. Not only did I pay a reasonable price for the entire hall, all food and extra décor but having Maria’s support and help really made the wedding planning experience easier. A huge thank you to the entire team who went above and beyond but especially Maria – you’re incredible thank you so much for all your help and always making me feel calm and that things will go perfect.
The place was very clean. I saw no dirty looking areas throughout the whole building. They had an incredibly massive room to host in, which is great for big parties. I recommend!
Went here for a wedding few weeks ago, venue is nice, the patio is a great place to take some photos. The food and decor were great. The service staff was amazing, kept bringing me the appetizer trays after I told em I loved it lol.
I would highly advise that you do not use this venue for your wedding day. The communication is terrible at this venue. You will need to be the one to reach out to them for all meetings, finalizing things and ensuring that your day goes well. Even the meeting you do have to finalize the meals, seating arrangements, etc will be for nothing because they will not be accurate on the day of - they will still ask you to rearrange the timeline of your day and meals WHILE you are having your wedding. Expect them to send you emails the night before your wedding to finalize set up. They will also tell you a number of things and then change their mind which will end up costing you. They will not assist you with lighting candles at your tables, instead they will stand there and watch as you have your guests help you light candles and they will make comments to my guests letting them know that they forgot to light a candle rather than just doing it themselves. They caused me a lot of additional stress on my wedding day and the days leading up to it. I would not recommend this venue to anyone.
Attended the Venetian Mansion last night for a wedding and it was amazing. Beautiful venue and food was great. The upstairs patio was perfect for the cocktail hour and the bathrooms were very clean. Only thing that I didnt like was how far from the city it was. Definitely would come back!
