The perfect space for a unique dining experience
Steam Whistle's Biergärten, located in downtown Toronto, lends inspiration from some of Munich’s most reputable Biergärtens and Bierhalls. Steam Whistle employees are treated to a five-year service award trip to Munich, Germany to experience the culture and beer traditions of the Motherland. Memories and experiences had by our staff have come together to bring to you a traditional Biergärten experience that is recognizably Canadian.
Toronto’s Food Dudes Chef Tyson Porcellato will head up the kitchen operation, serving a recognizably Canadian take on traditional German style foods. Using fresh, local ingredients while building memorable culinary experiences, the talented Tyson Porcellato has put together a menu that includes traditional German fare like pretzels, schnitzel and roast pork hock, with modern features like vegetarian and vegan dishes to suit all dietary needs.

A must stop in Toronto if your visiting or live here! Love the environment and atmosphere first and foremost but if you have the opportunity you simply must do the tour. Besides the fact that you get fun staff bringing you around the brewery, they start you off with a bottle to take around with you! Love the tasting bar and have some really nice snacks as well including an awesome house made pretzel!

Excellent brewery located in historic location, brewery tours available. Prices are very good, selection is limited to brewery selection however quality is very good as well. Limited food options also available. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and there is prompt service. Centrally located to major venues such as CN tower, aquarium and stadium.

By far the best brewery tour of any brewery I've ever been to. I first came here 4 years ago and at that time they only had 1 beer. The tour back then was fun and you got plenty of beer. Fast forward to 2020 and they have 4 beers that they brew and the tour has gotten even better! There is still plenty of beer provided on the tour and it is extremely informative. You get to learn everything about Steam Whistle and see the passion behind the beer. The staff is a lot of fun and they care about what they are doing. The beer is delicious and the soft pretzel was quite good! I will stop here every single time I come to Toronto. Can't beat this tour and the beer!

Quite possibly the most dog friendly place in all of Toronto. We love how theyve made provisions to be allowed to have dogs on premises! We were absolutely blown away with how kind every single member of staff was towards our dog. We visited twice and ended up leaving with lots of new friends. I cant say Im a beer expert but we thought it was really good. Im also certain if you did a tour it would be awesome given the quality of staff here. They said it themselves, theyre a family! 100% worth visiting. Well definitely be back when were next in Toronto.

I have done this tour many times with friends who visit from out of town. Typically its a pretty standard brewery tour. We went as a group of four last weekend and were blessed with having Kenny as our tour guide. The guy is hilarious and made the tour an incredible experience. If you do the tour specifically request to get in Kenny's next group. You will not be disappointed.
