The food was delicious. Morning coffee, lunch with many choices, wonderful breaktime fruit and cookies, and a superb cocktail hour in the evening. The meeting room was at 72F. Supposedly but was much too cold for most of us. The temperature did get corrected after many requests. Thanks. Sooner would have been better.xo.
Beautiful venue with stunning views. There's a terrace that provides a great way to enjoy a nice day and floor to ceiling windows that wrap around the perimeter of the building if the weather isn't as nice. While the Globe and Mail Centre is a little bit east of the downtown core, it means that you get a full panorama of the financial district cityscape. It can be accessed quite conveniently by both streetcar and subway.
Saw Reprint on the 17th floor. From The Musical Stage Company. I loved it and loved the venue. Spectacular views.
The Globe and Mail Centre is a beautiful and modern multi-level building perfect for hosting events and ceremonies. We attended a wedding ceremony here and I have to say, the staff and services are without a doubt, wonderful. Aside from services, the hors d'oeuvres we had were really good however, the main course could be improved to better accommodate all the attendees. The balcony views from the seventeenth level balcony are simply gorgeous! All in all, we had a fantastic time here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to host an event or ceremony in the future.
Love this venue. The view is incredible! One of my favourite views of the city without a doubt. Their food vendors are great too.
