We visited the Ontario Science Centre and had a lovely visit. Exhibits are well thought, laid out and there is something for everyone. When we visited we had a service dog. The teller when we purchased our tickets answered my questions regarding a service animal but it was another dog-loving employee who noticed us and approached me to tell me how and where I could let the dog out during the day. Her extra moments to speak to me greatly improved our visit and ensured I was able to be present with my children (instead of running back to the main entry to let the dog out).
The best place to look for attractions for your little kids, especially during cold winter days. The variety of activities I found for my 3 years old daughter is amazing, and is much beyond any other indoor place we've been at. The education value you can get out of it makes it the best deal for 1 year subscription in my opinion.
Great place for a day out, no matter what your age!We visited with the intention of spending about 3 hours here, however, we spent the entire day here. There's plenty to keep the kids, both young and not-so-young, interested and entertained. We visited midweek during winter and aside from a few school groups it was fairly quiet. If you visit during peak times then you may need more than just one day to see everything the Science Centre has to offer.
My family and I love going here on a monthly basis. This is the second year getting the annual pass and pays for itself after 2-3 visits, definitely worth it. They are never bored, they love to play in the water play area and the room with the many soft blocks. The only downside is that coming from Brampton its at least an hours drive, hence the reason why we can only come on the weekend.
The family membership here is great. The kids section is fantastic and there is always new exhibits to see. The staff are very helpful and mindful of children- often there are interactive things with staff throughout the centre. Weve also used it for a party and summer camps and both were excellent.
