Sorry for the long review.. but I had such a hard time writing my review for the Whim Team because I wanted to make sure I adequately captured how AMAZING they truly are. From the very beginning with their questionnaire, I knew that hiring the Whimlets was the most perfect fit for us. I had the pleasure of working with Alisha, Sylwia and Michelle.
Alisha, our month-of coordinator... such an incredible and inspiring human being. Leading up to our wedding day, Alisha provided some amazing recommendations for vendors (and they were all fantastic), helped us create the perfect timeline and ensured everything was going according to plan with deadlines, payments, and everything we never even thought to think of. She was always quick to respond to my e-mails and text messages. Every single time I had a conversation with Alisha, I felt a sense of calm and relief wash over me. This is the effect she had on me as a bride a month before her wedding day. Having Alisha to coordinate the details of our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Nothing would have come together the way it did without her supreme planning and organizational skills and just overall knowledge, experience and passion for what she does.
We also had Sylwia and Michelle of Events by Whim with us on our Hindu wedding day and our reception. These two are forces to be reckoned with; they handled EVERYTHING. If anything went wrong, I had no idea because these girls took care of all the details, kept everything on time and in order and kept me calm. I knew we were in good hands and it made the world of difference - I actually got to enjoy the two most important days of my life. From helping me to bustle the train on my dress (thanks Michelle!), to handling guests that showed up without RSVPing, we cannot thank this team enough. My family members had such great things to say about Michelle and Sylwia as they were so professional and efficient. This team will always have a special place in our hearts.
In addition, Michelle of RSVP by Whim created our wedding invitation suites and all of the stationary at both our Hindu wedding and reception. She truly captured our Beauty and the Beast theme in the most perfect and elegant way. She listened to everything I wanted and used her creativity to design something even better than I could have imagined. The signage, the table numbers and everything were beautiful and tasteful. Even with my last minute requests, everything turned out perfectly. We especially love the personalized monogram she created for us; something we can always have as our symbol.
If you are planning a wedding, or any event for that matter, please please take my advice and reach out to Whim Event Coordination & Design.. You will not regret it.

When it came to planning our wedding, our main criteria was that people had fun, food was delicious and the wedding looked beautiful. Little did we know that to accomplish these seemingly simple tasks, there were 5 bajillion tasks to coordinate and months of planning involved. Not only did we have 2 religious ceremonies to coordinate, but we also had 2 completely different cultures and almost 400 people to accommodate.
We are so grateful to the Whimlets for helping us keep our head on our shoulders. They were the reason we were able to enjoy the best day of our lives and the reason why our wedding day went so smoothly. They helped ease us into the whole process of wedding planning by organizing, coordinating and designing a day we truly cherished. Step by step, they were able to guide us and direct us in what needed to be done and the timelines that needed to be followed. They were patient with all our indecisiveness and helped us find the best solutions for our vision and our budget. It really helped that they have connections to amazing vendors at the palm of their hands, they did not disappoint and really catered to our needs.
Not only is the Whim team extremely organized and detail-oriented, they also know how to deal with any emergencies. It was only after the wedding did my husband and I find out that some unforeseen things had to be dealt with on the day of the wedding, but they were able to make everything run flawlessly, without anyone even noticing.
To say the least, it was a magical day that we’ll never forget – we even had many of our family and friends telling us they had the best time – and we owe it all to Whim. Thank you for making our wedding beyond anything we ever expected and for being part of this special celebration! We truly couldn’t have done it without you!
We hired Michelle for our invitations and menu cards (RSVP by Whim) and Alisha for Day-Of Coordination. Both such amazing and fun ladies!!!
Michelle created a custom invitation design for us that we fell in love with instantly! The look and feel of the overall invitation was pure perfection. Many of our guests have actually kept our invitations because they said they absolutely loved them (which is amazing as usually invitations get thrown out). She also created a matching menu place card to tie our whole wedding together and the result was breath-taking!
Being wedding planners ourselves, it was a little hard letting someone else take charge and just relax for the day of our wedding. However, Alisha made us feel 100% comfortable in doing just that! We did not worry about anything on the day and simply enjoyed ourselves knowing that she had everything taken care of.
We highly recommend this wonderful duo for your invitation and wedding planning needs (take it from #theweddingplannercouple !).

First of all I would like to encourage anyone who has recently got engaged or is planning a wedding to IMMEDIATELY contact Alisha. I say immediately as her services are way beyond our expectations. She not only helped create our dream wedding but she helped pair us with the most amazing vendors to work with. We decided to go with the full planning as my wife and I have very busy careers and could not manage planning on our own. Our wedding was a little over a week ago and I can tell you both of our families and friends have not stopped talking about how this was the most amazing and organized wedding they have ever attended. Everything turned out perfect (including the weather as it was supposed to rain) and the happiest day of my life would not have been possible without Alisha! We pretty much took almost every recommendation she gave and used vendors she recommended and I can say EVERYONE was amazing!! Like I said at the beginning make sure you contact her immediately as I know she is worth every penny and she may not be available for your dream day if you wait too long! I also know I will be using her again in the future!!

Alisha was AMAZING!
It was only 4 month between our engagements to the big day. We knew we needed professional help if we are going to make it work.
My wife and I retained Alisha to do full wedding planning for us. We knew she was the perfect fit when she busted out a 150-line checklist and a full stack of excel sheets. It may sound daunting, but it certainly speaks for her level of organization. And dont worry, she took care of most of the paperwork
She was super patient and took us visiting multiple venues often on evening and weekends. Super responsible with speedy email replies and never complained about our harassment calls in late evenings and always accommodated our last minute requests.
Alisha was a great communicator as well, she was able to grasp our vision and communicate effectively to the vendors. Everything turned out more perfectly than we even imagined. Alisha was also great at helping us saving money. Through her extensive network in the wedding industry, we found the best vendors for the job at reasonable prices, not to mention some nifty tricks she taught us that made our dollar stretch the extra mile.
And if you want a stress free wedding day, Alisha is your girl! She organized the timetable effectively, coordinated with all the vendors, does all the communication/negotiations behind the scene, guided our guests and she took care of issues before we even recognize it existed. She has great control over the flow of the event and handled even the small details beautifully. It was truly stress free to the point that I had nothing to do as the groom other than enjoying myself.
Worked with Alisha for a fab photoshoot and weddings this year, and her attention to detail is what makes all the difference in an event--so organized, never misses a thing, and venue looks so posh! She injects a wonderful vibe at the venue and makes it more fun to be there! We LOVE working with this lady boss! x
Have done Several events with Whim and their planning and executing of an event from beginning to end was great! Our Entertainment was well coordinated together and we always have happy Brides & Grooms!

They transformed our banquet space into an absolutely stunning classical display of beauty. Tastefully elegant design. We would love the opportunity to collaborate with them again in the future. Amazing to work with, very detailed and organized! Whim Events allows me to focus on the entertainment portion of the evening and not worry about the little details in between - because it's already taken care of! One of my favourite vendors to work alongside.
